The brain is composed of about 75% of water, 10% lipids (fats), 8% protein, 2% soluble organics, 1% carbohydrate and 1% inorganic salt.
How much water your body needs a day is easy to calculate: take your body weight and multiply it by 67%. As you can see from the composition of the brain we all need to drink more water and eat less carbohydrates. This should help us stay smarter and thinner.
